Phil,

Know it's been a while, but I spoke with John today and he was able to confirm your Clipper was his previously! He found some paperwork and was able to confirm the numbers. John is happy to talk with you, so I'm sending you a PM with his contact details.

Hello Phil

The only other RHD car I am aware of from that period was apparently a Clipper converted to a utility and remains now residing in Tasmania (or possibly scrapped). I inherited quite a bit of trim, fittings and instrument panel from that one. My Clipper Deluxe is currently in pieces being repainted. Probably at a cost exceeding the value of the car!

Do you have yours on the road? Looks from the pics to be in very nice condition. Perhaps the seat covering is non-original as you suggest. The centre section is probably the right colour, but I guess should have been fabric (or possibly leather?). Cannot see the seat back, so hard to tell.

Cheers

Brian

Cheers Brian, Yeah it's in pretty good nick considering that nothing much has been done to it for years. It's not quite on the road yet. Just some minor stuff to fix. Well we might have the only ones left! You will have to post some pics when yours is painted.
