I agree on the bots. I ran a site for awhile several years ago, and the number of bots sniffing about is nothing short of amazing.

Or maybe it's Cadillac people looking to see how the Other Half lives . . . .

A bot is a little bit of software that searches Web sites and indexes everything (when they are good bots) or they can be looking for weaknesses to break in and wreck havoc (when they are bad bots). Bot is short for robot since they are automated and they are also called spiders since they crawl around the Web.
