Those are much better pix. Clearly of an "outrigger", which appears to be in good shape, but looks like somebody added some iron to the body mount bolt, which then continues on into the rocker panel.

An obscure Service Counselor entry mentions an outrigger but the parts book does not and that is probably because they were an integral part of the frame which came as an assembly. Have you considered simply sourcing a replacement frame?

Have you looked in Gr. 8.001?

The factory nomenclature is "body hold down bracket", but I've always heard them referred to more commonly/simply as "outrigger".

No I have not, the rest of the frame is in good shape for a unrestored car. I'm having the car restored in about 2 months. So I might just have the body guys fabricate the outriggers. A replacement frame would cost too much for the effort of swapping everything.

Just got to thinking, a novel experience for me, that if anybody would be likely to have an "outrigger" if could well be Ross. Click on the link/name and send Ross a Private Message. Never know your luck!
