Does anyone know what a 61/13 ring and pinion set would go to? I have the whole setup and would like to identify it.

The 4.69 ratio based on a 61/13 tooth set was one of the ratios offered for use in the 1933-1936 Eights. Note that other tooth counts were used to also arrive at 4.69 and used in other models. It's all in the 1933-36 Parts List.

Thanks for the reply. I made a mistake. It is a 12/61 and has a number stamped on the ring gear 140436. If that is a part number, it is earlier than my parts book covers.

A 5.08 rear axle ratio using a 61/12 gear tooth pair was one of the available ratios for the 1200-1202 and 1400-1402 chassis. As I understand it the ring and pinion were mated and lapped in pairs and only made available in matched sets, under P/N 202705 in this case. Thus the part number for just the ring gear may not be particularly useful in finding the applications.

140435 is listed as the part number for the 5.08:1 gearing used in the 1929 626 and 633 series - didn't see a 140436 in the parts book.

I should have noted, I'm just checking in the 1933-36 Eight Service Parts List.
