Maybe I should paint a big ol' star on my Deluxe's doors.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

What is needed is a bogus legend along the lines of "This was the car in which Eisenhower interviewed in Kay Somersby. In a remote field in France with a bottle of Burgundy."

Here are a few current CL listings in my area for Packards:

1948 Super 8 LWB limo. Looks like a pretty solid car, but needs a lot of work

https://hartford.craigslist.org/cto/d/east-berlin-1948-packard-limo/7475155176.html

1956 400 Hardtop. Very rough parts car; no engine or transmission.

https://newhaven.craigslist.org/ctd/d/seymour-1956-packard-parts-car/7467686168.html

1936 115 Sport coupe. Former AACA National First. Looks like a really nice car, but I think the price is high for a six cylinder.

48 LWB is a Super 8 7 passenger sedan, not limo

That 400 has only the body and not much else...

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

Not mine, Facebook listing in NC, $3500, might not be too bad of a car, too bad it's not a 3spd/OD. Says engine is stuck.
Link: Packard in NC

Now reduced to $2500 per this Marketplace ad: Ad with Reduced Price

When I clicked on the above link, this one popped up in the verbiage below it:

12 banger "limo". Looks to be partially apart but hopeful. Price is "$23,456," but maybe it's sensible.

Wat seems only to be able to add attachment pictures, so click the link to see it.
