Maybe check with these guys on the best way to ship and the cost
https://www.packardmotorcar.com/index.php/trim-strip/
I had to ship much shorter front section exhaust pipes from a ‘61 Jaguar. I wrapped in foam and bubble wrap and named it The English Patient. John Kepich used to ship exhaust systems, Don, but they came in 3 pieces. Why aren’t you doing that?

No container - just the pipe with a label on it - but it's the length. Try getting a quote an the rocker trim pieces and you may be surprised! Last year it was far, far cheaper than it is now.

Depends on where it's going, too.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

The fact is, I still have a pair of lovely Clipper outside rocker moldings. Don't be scared, be creative. Relays, friends, pick up at Hershey. Going without or spending more on repairs isn't an option, or is it?
