Upon looking at the instrument panel even closer I saw the words pass,park,city be and another word I could not make out , what do these indicate?

They indicate which bulb filaments are being used.

PARK = parking lights
CITY = headlamp regular or low beams.
PASS = headlamp high beams.

The triple filament headlamps with the TILT feature were discontinued with the end of the 1934 models.
