Yeah, that Gates belt has a bunch of sexy notches on the inside that don't look like any of my 356 belts. I imagine that they might make it easier to install, however.

Did find this with a 3 second Google:

https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NBHA28?cid=paidsearch_shopping_dcoe_google&campaign=GSC-Catch-All&campaign_id=6478877959&adgroup_id=79272987338&adtype=pla_with_promotion&gclid=Cj0KCQiApb2bBhDYARIsAChHC9v-7VJ2OFb7CXPwcox7x8_UwlhYi_UElTV9BgQjLig9V8kpTNfREd0aApsJEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds&

Maybe $25 shipped to your door.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

Part #: NBH A28
Line: NAPA Belts & Hoses
$12.99

Above is from your link.
When I did a search just now, it showed this as not vehicle specific for my 47 2106

Please let me know if it fits. I have the same car and would love to have a spare on hand.

I too was struggling to find the correct belt when I was doing the renovation on my 47 Custom. Here are two photos showing the Ulrich belt installed with the part number, and two other belts I tried. I believe both were narrower than the Ulrich correct belt. I may have kept one of the narrower belts to use as a spare. Hopes this helps.

If the specs on the Napa site for this belt are accurate, at only a 30" circumference it will not fit. Earlier in the thread the circumference of other belts that have been said to work are in the 51 inch range.

Circumference in the 51" range is still too short.
It needs to be in the 54" range.

Beautiful engine! Is that a GenerNator that I see below or just a nice finish on a stock generator?

As an FYI, the motor mount and vibration damper should both be green but they look better in black.

Don, that is the stock Autolite generator. The engine paint finish was done by a previous owner. He did a beautiful job including using stainless steel fasteners, and a nice crinkle finish on the starter, generator and distributor. He told me chrome was too garish but stainless gave just the right look. The crinkle finish reminded him of the prewar Twelve and Super Eight senior engines.
