For any Pobeda fans this is the website to look up to.

John, the drawings present the early version of the GAZ M20 Pobeda, 1946-1950! The earlyer versions have the gear shifter on the middle of the floor a 3-speed manual gearbox that has originated from GAZ-M-1 (the car is a Soviet version of the Ford V8 + the gearbox to.

Picture reminds me of a movie where one of the characters pulled out a suitcase and opened it. Told another character that there was several hundred million inside and to take what he needed. Asked how much that was worth in American, first character said about 37 cents.

to HH56 you are right about the 37 cents story.
Actually this is the currency used in the USSR from 1961-1991.
They are useless today maybe, but this suitcase full of it came out of someones place 2 days ago, this
is the biggest set I have ever seen and some collecters would run wild for it. I just thought having something in a GAZ 13,ZIM ore ZIS 110 would be nostalgic thing.

Here something interesting:http://www.autobuy.ru/nite.php?aid=75&aform=10&apag=0&numstr=27&konc=28167#surroun

This one was for sale in Estonia for 3 years? still no buyers,
ques the owner drys his luck els where.
I don't belive the car has a KGB background like said in the advertisement, anyone could claim that. Unless he has proof that this was a KGB car then, I would belive it.
