Packard parts hunt

Went on a Packard parts hunt to liberate some Packard parts before there were sold off for scrap.

Gary and I went up and his truck, and on the 2 hour drive home the truck looked like something out of Sanford and Son.

I got what I was after, which was a prestige windshield for my '54 that was still in a soggy packing crate.

We couldn't get everything do to space constraints. There were still several 51-56 hoods, 10+ V8 engine blocks, and a piles of V8 pistons and connecting rods.

V8 power window motor and mechanisms, various generator cores.

Any way, here is my share of the load. Windshield is wrapped in a blanket, and sitting in backseat of the Clipper.

Some of the items will be for sale to help me recoup my costs and help out the website.

BTW that is a 4bl aircleaner in the pile.

Hank...cause I dont have a V8!

Plus there were all used of course. Put in the sheds, so out of the rain. Then were are cans of lifter soaking in ATF to prevent rusting. V8 parts all came off his many part cars he had.

1951 300 and Patrician 400. Available on other models as an accessory.
The cormorant is a separate item and fits 1948 to 1951.
The base is for 1951 and 1952 (52 Cormorant has the same body but swept back wings)

Wow. Thats quite a pile of parts you have. Too bad you didn't get any of the power window motors/regulaters as they probably would be worth the trip and money for the site. You still got what looks like a great assortment of parts like the '54 dash, underseat heaters assorted door piller switches, and chrome pieces. I look forward to when you may resell them. Good luck! Chris
