Would you please post the VN numbers of your cars. It case you are not sure, that is the number on the Patent Plate usually found on the driver's side firewall. The numbers should begin with 22XX and 23XX or maybe just 22XX depending on when the 49 was produced.
Thanks,
Gene

I see two 2252's. So does that mean there are a total of three 356 engines included in the deal (two in cars and a spare)? As Gene indicates, more detail would be helpful.

Model/serial numbers, and the number of the installed engine.
Engine numbers on the spares and the one in the chassis.

Walter:

Before you go and jump off of the deep end, please, please go to the city hall and ask for the statute and read it thoroughly. Some times these local politicians think all thay have to do is spout the "your in violation' and people will run scared. In you pictures I see a quonset type building, why can't the cars go in there. They would not be seen and would be out of sight.

Al, that is a good response. Another good idea would be to find a warehouse someplace that you could store them in if you truly wish to keep them. You can often find unused space in downtown areas that is relatively secure for a decent fee. This is something to consider.

The quonset hut is where they used to be. Where they are now is an estate type neighborhood, and the neighborhood deed restrictions are quite clear. All of my inside and covered parking are filled with other projects and my drivers, seven total not counting the four Packards. There just isn't any more room. Battling the neighbors can only go so far....they are in the right, and I need to choose my battles. I am afraid this is not one of them.

The next door neighbor is trying to sell her house and she is the one who started this whole thing. She has done a good job of getting the neighbors organized. I can totally understand her position. It sucks for me, but I understand.

If the sale goes through. I would like to see if one of the Station Sedans would still be available from the new owner. If you would please let them know about my interest. THANKS.

I will be sure to let him know.

Hey, I see that you have a book in your signature. Any link to it? Does it have a title?
