Well, I'm 38, I grew up with my grandfather rebuilding his 426 roadster and 633 sedan, plus 52 200. My dad was into Studebakers! Early influences are strong. My mum drove an Austin 1800 (whicjh explains my intrest in these very uderrated cars). My first car love was Minis.

Now I own a Packard and hope to add more!

I'm 49 and my interest in Packard's started when I was a pre-teen. In the '70's, my dad bought a '49 Packard Model 2301 (along with an ambulance as a parts car). I learned how to drive my first "3 on the tree" in that car. I even drove the Packard to my high school prom! My dad also had two other cars (a '61 Dodge Lancer and '67 El Dorado), but his favorite was the Packard. My dad gave me two priceless gifts. One was the love of old cars (I have a '70 Monte Carlo) and the other was the '49 Packard I now have sitting in my garage.

Happy Packard'ing!

Hey Guys!

Went to a yard sale with my Mom in the Packard and met two cool guys there. It was a father/son duo with two nice Chevy's, a '53 & '54. The '54 belonged to the son who was maybe 22-23. They also had a '29 Ford pickup they were working on. Got a lot of good tips from them, and in the process made a couple of new friends. Old cars are in good hands with the younger generation. As long as there is someone to spark the interest, old steel will live on.
