The heater value on my series 22 leaks it is the 2 hose conection that goes through the fire wall and lets the water go through the heater core. Is there a replacement or can I rebuild this one? Lonny

Kanter and Max Merritt have 22-23 series rebuilt heater valves. Both are in the neighborhood of $140-150 plus a core charge or your old one. Max's is listed here heater valve Kantershttp://www.kanter.com/packard/pac-454.html is at the bottom of the page listed under group 33.000. IIRC, that rebuild place mentioned in your earlier thread also had various valves for sale.

As to whether the one Napa part is all that is needed so you can rebuild yours, someone else will have to say. The repair site says the diaphragm shown is the same on all valves. That single part has fixed the majority of later valves but the repair site also show a couple of other rubber parts used on some valves. No idea if the 22-23rd Packard falls in that category.
