It is NOT a 1947. It could be any one of the 1948-50. It looks like a 1948. The VIN number on the fire wall will tell us what you have. Post the number and we can tell you exactly what you have. By the way the two door models like yours are not common, good find.

Ok so these are the numbers I saw:
VIN: 2265 10602 Body #: 226510542 Raised Stamped #: 81331 Thanks again for the help. The man I bought it from told me it was a 47 but I was unsure about that.

Would you check that "raised stamped" thief-proof number again, you're missing one digit (# should be 6 digits in length). The VN you've given is for an Eight Deluxe club sedan, a 1948 22nd series, the 8602nd one built.
