Not to discourage you, go ahead with the fan if you can. But just to note that unless you live in the Sahara or some similar climate, the need for things like larger fans, fan shrouds, electric pusher fans and the like are just masking some underlying problem with the cooling system and finding and solving that is the better first route of attack.

If you look at the part numbers, I believe we found the 54 AC Fan is the same as the "Korean War" fan.

I think the that fan is "louder" because of the pitch, and that is why they went back to standard fan once the cooper restrictions were lifted.
