The aftermarket rotor is still an active number with Echlin/NAPA and Standard (the old Blue Streak), and listed in their catalogs. The numbers are AL-65 and AL-99 respectively.

If you look closely at the 2 rotors on top you will see that the one is missing a whole piece of bakelite and the other is badly cracked. They still work, but i'm afraid they will throw sparks and I want it right for reliability sake.
You guys have not been to Africa before? Haha!! Have a heart! Thanks for the part numbers anyway, but our local aftermarket stores only specialises in China, India or Japan!!! Will try to get one from Max meritt or Kanter.
Thanks Guys!

Hi Clipper 47

Thanks for the offer. It is very kind. Please do not go out of your way with this.
How do I compensate/reimburse you for the costs involved? Remember that postage to South Africa can be as high as the purchase price of the part! Let me know if it is possible.

I will go to NAPA and see if they have the part. I am sure it will fit into a bubble wrap envelope and send it airmail. Postage will be more that the cost of the part probably but so will one from Kanter etc. I'll get back to you with a PM.

The local NAPA had one Echlin AL65 in stock so I bought it. I sent you a PM concerning cost and mailing costs.
