Hello to all, Been awhile since I've been on here. I've found a car on the local CL and I've attempted to find the number in the resources here that BigKev has put together on this awesome site but coming up empty. Most likely due to operator failure. Below is a pic of the door tag. Thanks in advance to all responses.

I think it reads 5477 which makes it a 54 Pacific Hardtop. That would be considered a senior Packard with the 359 engine and some senior running gear and all senior trim but is on the 122 wheelbase. One of my favorite models. The other number is the production sequence of that model.

OK....I think I fingered it out ! It is a 54 Pacific and the 802nd car built......if I remember the build number sequence correctly.......Feel free to confirm or deny.

Thanks Howard. Anyone have any history on this car ? Being they only made 1189 of them, it would seem that it would have been an easier model to track.

Hotrod,

have you contacted the owner? it looks solid, but missing seats. it has a 2 barrel carburetor, so I wonder about he engine.

the plates on the car are from 1968.

there are a few 2 door cars on the local craigslist,

I'm assuming that you have talked to or have looked at the car to determine that it has a 2bl carb on it because it doesn't make reference to that in the CL post. I'm not worried about the seats at this point. Seats I can get. It states that all the chrome/ molding is in the car but I'm going to look at it Friday and will take inventory on what's there and what's not.
