Oh yeah, open the hood and see a 320 motor and just think of the $$$ you could spend on that...just kidding. Better yet, open the door and think of all the money you could spend on dash plastic...so yeah, go ahead and buy the super. I'll take the 110 all day long( with an overdrive, of course.)

Not Craig's List but . . .

Interesting Packards, listed as 1939 but actually a 1940 (appears to be a 120) with a 1938 and a couple others in the background:

Very slim CL picking in Packards these days.

A '56 Clipper hardtop, disassembled 'kit' project:

That weathered '52 Patrician with great original interior, pricy:

A '49 Eight 23rd Series, partially completed project:

Steve

12-4-2020: Added the interior pictures of the '52 Patrician above, I doubt if one could have that quality interior duplicated for what the asking price of the complete car is.

If the interior is as nice as pictured, then the price may not be out of line. The cost to replicate the interior would be more than the asking price for the Patrician. Impressive quality and design.

Thanks JW, I added the pictures of the interior, maybe someone restoring a Patrician will see the value and act on it.

Yes, it seems in a lot of restorations, mechanical and body & paint get addressed and interiors are on the 'to-do list' with a blanket thrown over the old upholstery. IF they get done, a lot of the time it is an obvious money-saving, less-than job. As a relative newcomer to the hobby, I have to say, interior costs were something that startled me!! Chris.

That is exactly what I'm planning to do! Eventually will figure out the reupholstering thing, but I plan to drive and enjoy the car first.

A 1954 Cavalier. Needs interior work, upholstery available.
Factory A/C, needs switch.

That is an aftermarket A/C system in the 1954, not factory. If stock it would have had the 3-knob control panel above the steering column and fresh air scoops on the top of the rear fenders adjacent to the parcel shelf. The A/C unit itself was in the trunk.

Nice looking Cavalier but so many faults that it would cost quite a bit to get it back to stock. For example, the head studs are about an inch too long, have the wrong nuts (they appear to be the generic hardware store variety rather than the thicker 3/4" hex type required) and no thick washers underneath. The generator was relocated from below the power steering pump to the upper right side and wiring seems funky where visible.

I'm not sure if the Packard script should be on the trunk lid either but I'm not sure about that. First thought was that it was a 1955 lid.
