This car looks like a money pit to me! It would be so expensive to restore it that you would be underwater for probably three or four decades! Parts car?

For what it’s worth, I have a set of those trim pieces which I will be selling one of these days.

I know this isn't a Craigslist posting, but a Facebook Marketplace........hopefully I won't be chastised. Not mine, and I don't know the seller or the car!

A pretty rough looking 1955 Packard Caribbean convertible in Macon GA: "Not Mine- But a friend is selling his 1955 Packard Caribbean convertible needs a complete resto but otherwise all there and tons of extra parts go along with this car.. located just outside of Macon Ga. 15,000 obo"

Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace or whatever, it doesn't matter as long as it brings another Packard to the attention of someone who will save it or can use the parts.

This topic started years before Facebook even thought about a marketplace...

That Caribbean is quite a find, hope someone saves it.

The Patrician and parts car - I saw that posting as far back as summer of last year. Surprised they're still unsold...

That '53 Clipper looks like it could be a very nice car with some detailing. And manual with overdrive - sweet!

What would the original interior material have been? Anything close to what is in there now?
