CL started charging $5 and scared a lot of sellers off. I think a lot of them went to fb.

You have to admit, they're damned good-looking cars.

I really must say, I actually prefer the '46 to the '47 - 50. And it's one of the few cars where I prefer the postwar update to the '41-'42 design they are based on.

Nice looking 1940 120, with an early front bumper and a later rear bumper and trunk emblem.

I couldn't get the link to work on the '50 Custom. Is this it Steve? (Listed in Detroit CraigsList, but says it's in New Mexico!)

Yes, that's the '50 Custom, has been offered on CL for a few years now. He tries different venues beyond New Mexico. It appears to be a very solid typical Western car, good sheet metal and trim, original but worn and sun-damaged interior. It would be worth investigating if you are interested in one.

Might as well post this one, a mostly original '41 120 sedan in the clutches of a greedy flipper intent on extracting all he can with a badly over-priced sale :

How can I tell its a flipper? Everyone of them can't wait until the car is unloaded from the rollback truck or trailer to take photographs and get the CL listing posted in anticipation of a big score. Shame in this case, this '41 120 looks like a good project start...if the price was realistic.
