The '48 Custom Convertible looks like an interesting project for someone with deep pockets. The glove box door is from a non-Custom. If the engine that is out of the car is truly a 'Thunderbolt' then it's not a 356 and is from a later model.

I don't know what to do about the bullet hole in the stainless trim. That stuff is welded onto the body using some special method.
