On those junkrods, what bugs me the most is when they paste "Packard" on the junk crate motors. Very sophomoric and stupid.
It's like when kids put Harley-Davidson stickers on their bicycles, only the kids have an excuse.

I contacted the owner of the 1936 120 convertible coupe for sale in Daytona Beach, Florida. The car is currently undergoing restoration and is not actually available at this time. He is just taking down contact information of potential buyers. He could not tell me exactly when it would be finished or even when an interested party would be able to see the car. I have been looking for a Packard like this for some time.

Here are some crusty parts cars or very ambitious projects. Some are on Facebook and others are on Craigslist:

This 1951 Patrician is a total disaster. Located in NJ:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2130426350492563/?hoisted=false&ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post

1955 400 has been extensively stripped for another project, but it was a California car and has good floors and some other good sheet metal remaining. Looks like the engine is intact too. Could be used to save a rusty Caribbean. And it is really cheap. Located in Mamaroneck, NY:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/515311393867759/?hoisted=false&ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post

Rusty and trashed 1956 Clipper Super hardtop located in Norristown, PA:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/567662181748294/?hoisted=false&ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post

Rough and unrestored 1955 Caribbean. Gives new meaning to the term "ragtop". Body does look relatively solid, but ad says engine is missing. Located in Wisconsin. Buy this one and the '55 400 hardtop above and you will have a complete car.

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/891928668899616/?hoisted=false&ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post

Rusted out 1946 Clipper 6 Sedan from Arkansas. Probably not work saving, but some of the outer sheet metal and trim is salvageable. Head is off engine, and it looks pretty nasty:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1361637111253912/?hoisted=false&ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post

Barn find 1955 Clipper sedan in Minnesota. Parked since 2007. Looks restorable:

https://brainerd.craigslist.org/cto/d/fort-ripley-1955-packard/7560741557.html

1955 Patrician in Texas. Obviously needs work, but actually looks pretty decent. Like the two-tone brown and white paint scheme, but it needs to be redone:

https://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/cto/7561214083.html

Partially completed restoration of what appears to be a 1940 Packard 110 Sedan. Disassembled and in boxes. Body stripped and bare metal. Ad says it is a 1941, but I'm reasonably certain it is a 1940. From Colorado Springs, CO:

https://cosprings.craigslist.org/cto/7565767372.html

1939 1703 Touring Sedan in Seattle, WA. Needs full restoration but appears complete with a straight body. Has dual side-mounts:
