The owner of the green '55 Patrician says in the ad: "The overall condition in my opinion is stellar."

Hmmm.......

Stellar perhaps for an unrestored car that needs work but it’s not really too bad either. This place tends to be high priced so I was surprised that the asking price was far lower than I expected but perhaps still a bit much for what it is. Now if it were a well-optioned (with factory A/C) 1956 in the same condition of any model I might consider it but not a 1955.

Spotted a few nice ones today on CL that are recent postings:

Very nice 1958 Sedan. Really like this one, especially the color:

https://okaloosa.craigslist.org/cto/d/shalimar-rare-1958-packard-58l-sedan/7623700313.html

1940 110 Touring Sedan. Incorrect black vinyl interior, but body looks very straight and rust free. Not sure about the wire wheel rims. Ocala, FL:

https://ocala.craigslist.org/cto/d/crystal-river-1940-packard-6cyl-speed/7617526746.html

1955 Clipper Constellation. Looks well restored, but something may be up with the Torsion Level Ride as the rear end is way up in the air. Kansas City, MO.

https://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/d/blue-springs-1955-packard-clipper/7623178199.html

1949 (23rd Series) Standard Eight Sedan. Barn find in solid condition but needs cosmetics. Colorado:

https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/d/durango-1949-packard-barn-find-all/7624409323.html

Two 1934 Lebaron Speedster Phaeton project cars with reproduction bodies by Maurice Proux. Seller claims he has all parts needed to complete both cars, though finishing either one of them looks like it will be a monumental project. The metal work done on these cars looks truly amazing. Have no idea how anyone would be able to craft something like this. San Francisco Bay area:

Did anyone notice that the 1955 Clipper Constellation has four rows of louvers punched in the hood?

Yes, I noticed them and the engine looks odd to me too. Is it Packard? The air cleaner indicates it is but I couldn't tell about the engine, especially without the oil filter that I thought they all had.

The floor console is definitely not Packard either. Looks like someone added an aftermarket air conditioner also.

Packard Club has an ad up for a 1947 2103 maroon sedan out of long-term storage for $14K. Says it needs a good going through but is "priced accordingly." Wat's Wager: it could be gotten for a fair bit less.
It's in CA and I'm not going this month. Next, either.

Funny, there was one last fall for $9K in the same condition. That was the one that flipped twice. I suspect that it went to the last buyer for about 12 five. I saw that car and it looked decent.

Very few Packard pickings on CL these days. This rough '55 Caribbean turned up:

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.

Few new ones I spotted today:

Very nice 1941 120 Club Coupe. Attractive color (Appears to be Andean Tan, Color scheme K) and reasonably priced at $21K. Providence, RI:

https://providence.craigslist.org/cto/d/johnston-1941-packard-120-club-coupe/7632037421.html

1932 900 sedan. Mostly original car except for repaint showing 64K miles. Offered by Tom Laferriere, classic car dealer from RI:

https://providence.craigslist.org/cto/d/greenville-1932-packard-light-eight/7629782839.html

1949 (23rd series) Super Eight sedan, Model No. 2382. Seller's late grandfather purchased car in 1971 from the original owner with the intent of doing a restoration, but apparently never got around to even starting on it. Car has been in inside storage ever since. Appears solid and complete but needs everything. Asking price probably on the high side given the condition but is a rarer model than the usual Standard or Deluxe Eights. Philadelphia, PA area:

https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/d/flourtown-1949-packard-eight-series/7633348678.html

1955 Patrician. Decent looking running original car. Ohio:

https://wheeling.craigslist.org/cto/d/lansing-1955-packard-patrician/7630853143.html

1955 Clipper Constellation. Attractive in red and white, looks like a good car and reasonably priced. Interior appears original and in good shape. Chicago, IL area:

https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/cto/d/sumava-resorts-1955-packard/7631322596.html

1953 Clipper Deluxe Sedan. Needs total resto, but very straight and rust-free West Coast body. Only $1,500. SF Bay area:

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/d/san-jose-1953-packard/7632977276.html

1951 200 Sedan. Another West Coast project car. Metal looks very good. In running condition for just $1,500. Modesto, CA:

https://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/d/mi-wuk-village-1951-packard/7631911913.html
