I think people are posting the ephemeral photos on Facebook and the like, instead of uploading them to here.
Just as well in my opinion, as endless photos of random cars at random shows and the like don't need to be preserved indefinitely. Much better to spend the money that would pay for that, on hosting technical data and questions. 😀
