Hershey is about two weeks away. Anyone from the forum going to be there?

I'll be there on Thursday and Friday.

I was planning to go, but with the mess on Wall Street and in Washington, my employer is being caught in the credit crunch and I'm being laid off starting on the 10th. If the job prospects improve before then, maybe I'll still go. If not, there's always next year.

I only wish. Maybe when I retire. The university frowns on playing hokey by professors.

I am planning to be there on the last Saturday, at least for the show.

I am saddened to report that I can't make it this year, this will be one of the few Hershey meets I have missed since 1980. I'm just plain out of vacation time, a combination of having to take days off to be daddy day care because the teachers get whole weeks off in December, Feburary and April and my wife and I both work, a week-long trip to Texas to get my 86 year old Dad down to Houston to see my Aunt and her extended family (mission accomplished, a very worthwhile undertaking) and a trip last month for my wife and I to Orlando, a mini "second honeymoon" for our 10th wedding anneversary. She was the 25th caller to a local radio station, won us airfare, ground transport, three nights at the Hard Rock hotel @ Universal, tickets to the Universal parks for three days and tickets to see the Blue Man group. All of these trips were fun, but I am going to be miserable not being at Hershey.

I'll call you each evening to let you know how the day went and how good the food was at our favorite restaurants. Hershey won't be the same without you with us.

Yes Randy, Thursday and Friday are the 9th and 10th. Might I see you on the 10th around the PAC tent?

My first Hershey was 1959; I've only missed a few over the years, mostly the wet and muddy ones.

I might have to redo my schedule so I can be there on the tenth too. It would be nice to get together with you guys... This will be my first time an the meet. Anything not to be missed?
