Looks like an interesting movie and I managed a screen capture of the 1940 Packard. Not sure how I did it as it was there for only a second!

The new 2020 Netflix remake of Rebecca very briefly had this lovely Packard in the opening scene in Monte Carlo.

Ninth Series Twin Six. Citroen in the center. What's that on the left?

The person inside the car on the left was the focus of the scene but not shown too well. I'll take a look to see if there is another view but I believe it is a British car of some sort.

Best I can tell is that the car on the left is a Renault Vivaquatre being used as a taxi and here in this closer view of it the Packard is still visible in the background.

Last night I watched the film noir "Walk Softly, Stranger" 1950. In it the main car was a dented 35-36 120, and another a 37 Caddy Town Car. I was surprised to see them shooting through the windshield of the Cadillac. I also wondered why that car should be chosen as a prop. That is, until they ran it off the road and rolled it.

In 1950, a '37 was a used car...

Right, but town cars were the bottom of the heap. Turnquist bought a mint 38 V-12 town car for $50. He already had the 39 Limo so he didn't keep it.
