The supercharger is nice but I'd bet there are more who would like to add AC using that bracket and pulley arrangement.

I'd say that setup is just right for my lawnmower

On a more serious note, what car would you drop this into? Resto-mod?

I would suggest that the person trying to achieve this build should be encouraged..I would like to try this myself but my insanity is generally only temporary at 23 hours per day. The engine is obviously not a 359 alloy head 1954 motor with which the Supercharger was generally associated. I would hope that the valves run cool enough to make it successful and it should work as long as his right foot does not keep the pedal " mashed to the floor" for too long.

Good luck...and do you have a spare? Peter Toet.

I'm guessing that anyone who is able to gin up those rather spiffy castings and pleasingly simple arrangement will be able to sort out any problems with the hose to the bonnet.

Hi

Looks like a nice job, even took the time to add Packard logos to the components. It'll look great under the hood and be useful in short bursts, he should have some fun with it. The '54 Kaiser Manhattan got a twenty horsepower boost for it's supercharged "fork-lift' engine.

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.
