Years ago I bought a box of 10 point sets for my 1947 Packard Super Clipper. They were sold to as being correct for the IGT-4023 distributor on my car. They are not and I have been unable to find what vehicle.these point sets fit. If anyone has an old Autolite catalogue and can identify the correct application for these points I would be very grateful. I am cleaning up my garage and don't want to toss them out as I am sure someone somewhere can use them. Thanks.

Dave, my Motors 25th edition (1938-1953) Flat Rate and Parts Manual lists IGW 3028 BS as fitting 51-53 6-cylinder Chrysler products (Chrysler, DeSoto, Dodge, and Plymouth). The "XS" suffix maybe a later numbering. You may want to ping on the WPC Club site. Hope this helps.

John, Thanks for your help with this. a fellow over at the AACA site confirmed that these are indeed correct points for the 356 engine Ina 1947 Packard. I did try a set and they did fit but not well in my opinion but they did work.
