We have 1000's of new and used hubcaps many with faded red. None of them are the orange of the green hubcap.

I agree with Packardbarry now that In have referenced my 33-36 Eight cyl original parts book that I obtained from a Packard dealer in Allentown PA in 1962. In the wheels section it states in the parts description for all hubcaps, wire, disc and wood to (specify color). That should settle it, but whether it has been done by the factory, dealer or owner is up to interpretation.

I'm not too old to learn something new. Thanks Packardbarry
