Has anyone found any mistakes, problems, or things that need correction on the Progression Chart?

Just curious.

Kev,

I took a look at the chart this morning and it looked great at first pass. I have not had a chance to look it over in great detail. Great job pulling all that information together.

Regards,
Robert.

Well 100 views on the chart article and no negative feedback or errors reported, perhaps I got something right the first time out of the gate! Only time will tell.

Under 1929
I'm not sure the Speedster was designated 626

Under 1930
Speedster should be 734

Under 1941, add to Clipper...
Eight (1951)

I'm not sure I'm completely correct with what I've got below, but 1942 has quite a few mistakes. With the addition of the Clipper series, Packard had Series redundancy between the Clippers and the old-style models. I hope I've got it straight.

The whole listing shold be as follows:

Custom Super Eight One Eighty (2006. 2007, 2008)
Super Eight One Sixty (2003, 2004, 2005, 2023)
Eight (2001, 2011, 2021)
Six (2000, 2010, 2020, 2030)

Clipper Super Eight One Eighty (2006)
Clipper Super Eight One Sixty (2003, 2055)
Clipper Eight (2001, 2011, 2021)
Clipper Six (2000, 2010, 2020, 2030)

I guess the 1929 Speedster was called a 626. Sorry 'bout that, chief.

West, am I correct in thinking there were only 1 or 2 626 Speedsters made? There was the well-documented one made for some fellow in Chicago (?) and perhaps one other?

Besides for the open-wheel black boattail 626 Speedster prototype/test-mule (currently in Dayton's Packard Museum), I'm familiar with two other existing Speedsters from 1929. One is the roadster in the Henry Ford Museum (which some people argue is not a "Speedster" --- the paperwork says "Special") and the other is a phaeton that I've lost touch with. For a while it was in Georgia, then went to Minnesota. I don't know where it is now.

Kev
The "updated" version does not seem to show the corrections.
