Wheel lug bolts

Anyone aware of a source for new wheel lug bolts for 33-36 Packards and no doubt other years as well? Thread is 9/16-18 right hand, overall length 1-1/2 inches. I have located NAPA's BK 6411020 as reasonably close but only 1 inch overall length and would feel uncomfortable with less than full threaded length into the drum. A bit longer OAL would be OK, can always be trimmed. Twenty-eight are needed, I'd rather not have to make them.

Dave, I did a couple of quick searches, but did not come up with an over the counter replacement.

But here are a couple of sources to try:

Antique Auto Supply (Texas) 817-275-2381 (They have 3 warehouses of vintage NOS parts)

Classic Car Services (Maine) 207-743-5001 (They restore Dueses and Packards and make their own replacement hardware that they also sell according to a recent article on them in Classic Car)

Restoration Supply Company (Calif) (800)306-7008 (They dont have it listed their catalog, but never hurts to call)

Hopefully one those guys either has them, or can point you in the right direction.

Dave,

There's a similar topic on the AACA Technical Forum "Are 9/16" fine thread wheel bolts obsolete?". A guy in Norway is after flange head wheel bolts 9/16" x 2" UNF thread to fit a 1929 Chrysler. Could be an answer will come up there.

The last time I bought a bunch of them. I got them from Dorman. You know, The orange drawers that were in a decent auto parts stores. I will try to get the part numbers of the boxes of aome that I still have and post it here.
