Moving company is booked, and I scheduled the transporter for the Packard. Just need to find a house now! We leave Calif at about 3am on October 1st, will stay the night in Denver, and onto the Chicago suburbs arriving the evening of Oct 2nd. 14 hours per day of driving. 6 people (us, plus 3 relief drivers,) 3 cars, 2 cats, 1 dog, and 1,970 miles to travel.

I've done this drive 3 times already, so I know the route pretty well. Very scenic until you hit Nebraska, then it's like a Scooby-Do cartoon where the background scenery repeats for 300+ miles.

Apparently, none of the Transporters will allow you to fill up your car with stuff. The Sanford and Son rule.

Kev,
Safe travels.
Since you have traveled this before, you know where all the Packard stops are on the way?

Sadly with 3 cars, 6 people and 3 pets, it will be shortest route possible. Gas, bathroom and fastfood...repeat..
