Thank you Williej for the offer. I am finally getting ready to remove the original gas tank in my '50 Packard Deluxe Club and will let you if I need one.

Just to reiterate from another thread. The '40 holds 21 gal. The '41 has a 1 gal indentation to accommodate the spare tire and holds 20 gal.

Since Fred started this thread almost 2 years ago has there been any further info on the status of possible repro tanks for these models? I would think there is a demand but don't remember seeing any updates so possibly there was not enough of one to make the project viable. What about the person mentioned in another thread a few days ago that was making a prewar tank for another poster. Is he making individual one off tanks or is it a production shop?

The gas tank is still in the queue for the consideration for production. But we have had to put it on hold as we have been working extensively on the move of our company from our one building to other. We are hoping to have the move completed in the coming months and hope to resume work on our various new production products.

Thanks

Hi James,

Is the same true for the prewar junior tanks Fred also mentioned a couple of years ago?

If Kanter Auto Parts produces a new reproduction gas tank for 1950 23rd series Packards, I would buy one.

Hello Williej,

I am interested in your 1940 gas tank. Is it a 17 gal or 20 gal tank? Please send me some photos of your tank from different angles to memo.durgin@gmail.com. Also, could you send me your contact info so we can discuss further. Thanks.

Tank is out of my 41 110 Packard Street Rod IT IS A 20 Gallon tank. It is in excellent condition. No rust inside or outside, no dents. I put an LS1 fuel injected engine in the car and had to have a tank with an internal pump and the stock tank will not work.

The tank is in storage and I will get it out and take some pics and send them to you.

Did I price the tank? Cant remember
