I'm going tomorrow (Thursday 13 Oct) since it's pretty close and not that expensive to be a spectator. There are supposed to be 6 Packards there, so I'll take pix of those I can find. Afterwards, I'll post the pix here. The sale prices will be on the B-J website later.

I'm not sure of some of the year/model because they weren't in the consignment list or there was no sign or ...

There were 2 1954 convertibles. One pic didn't turn out and I didn't make it to the Caribbean.

The 3rd and 5th pictures are 1934 for sure.

I think the 1st is 1932, and the 2nd a 1933?

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you

BDC, other way around. The first is a 33, 2nd is a 32.

I thought the stone guards were on the 32's and earlier.

Easy clues to year differences 1932-1934 include the front fenders (skirting or absence of it), leading edge of front fender, and the front bumper style.

1932: no skirt on front fender, front edge of fender approximately at the height of the horn trumpet.

1933: front fender skirted to cover sidemount well, fender front edge still at the height of the horn trumpet.

1934: Front fender skirted to cover the sidemount well, fender front edge lowered to within a few includes of the bumper.

The first picture shows 1933 front fenders with a 1934-35 slotted front bumper. The second picture most likely is a 1932 Twin Six, but something about the front fenders just doesn't look right to me. The crowned area over the tires doesn't look wide enough and the angle going down to the catwalk looks too straight, lacking a gentle curve. Maybe it's just the camera's perspective, I don't know. Such things make model/year identification challenging.
