This is my 1953 Clipper Touring. I'm planning a resto-mod, and she will eventually become my daily driver. Latest work is new floor pans welded in to replace the rotted out steel that was there before.

G'day Jimmy,
to PackardInfo and for including your '53 Clipper Deluxe Club Sedan in the Packard Owner's Registry. I, for one, will be following along as your project progresses, good luck.

EDIT - See post #7 for link to Jimmy's '53 Clipper Touring Sedan.

Just noticed your blog is titled "....53 Clipper Touring" while it's identified in the Registry as a "....53 Clipper Deluxe Club Sedan". The photos show a 4 door so can you identify which body style it is from the data plate and, in my capacity as Forum Ambassador, I'll correct the Registry entry for you?

While I believe it's a touring just from looking at the trim I do not know for certain.

What are the numbers on the VN or Body tags? Should be something like 26xx - xxxx, the 26xx will identify it.
