I have a 1957 Packard Clipper Country Sedan ( station wagon) and this emblem is not on my car.
Are you sure it's for a Packard?

I think this is from a DeSoto. The holes at the top are for mounting the head and shoulders of a conquistador.

I thought the markings looked similar to Studebaker, so I assumed incorrectly that it was for the 57-58 models!
