Had a customer come into the plant and mentioned this Packard for sale, not sure if it has been on here before or not, figured the armyjeeps.net website isn't heavily hit by those looking for a Packard but here she is. If you are looking for a Packard with a Chevy engine for 75k....

http://armyjeeps.net/Packard/index.htm

from their website
"Built at Packard Motor Car Co in Detroit, Michigan.? Delivered to Hamilton, Ohio in December 1936.? Spent its life there until I purchased it in February, 2001.? Prior to 2001, the engine compartment was converted to Chevrolet 350 V8 engine with automatic transmission and air conditioning.? The engine had 7500 miles on it when purchased and I have put 27,016 miles on it with parades, casual driving, family marriages, etc... Original door and trunk keys will lock the car for security.? It is a beautiful car!

Price: $75,000
Location: Chillicothe, OH"

Anybody notice the ORIGINAL 1934 Packard for sale in the Want Ads?

Packard for Sale:
A lady that lives three miles from Harold Gilreath called and wanted him to look at some cars that she needs to sell. Her husband died a few years ago. Harold knew the husband had a Packard, but Harold thought it was a 1939 model. She uncovered the car (it is in the garage) and Harold was surprised. It is a 1934 Packard 4-door, six-wheeler, touring sedan. Paint is in very good shape, but the entire interior is out of the car. The luggage rack is there, and she has the trunk for the rack. All of the wood appeared to be good, even in the doors. There was a small section between the body and frame that will need to be fixed. It is in the driver's door area. The car was only showing 68,000 miles. The bumpers were off and have already been re-chromed. She has new running boards for the car, but they were too long. Her husband had bought these. The title states it is 1101 series. Harold measured the wheelbase (135 inches) and knew this was a 1103 series. That is why the running boards are too long. The soft top needs to be replaced. The lady is asking $21,000 for the car. We are listing her name, city, state and phone numbers.

Roger, note that an 1101 has a 136" wheelbase so unless the measurement of wheelbase was accurate to within less than 1 inch, it could be an 1101. Easy clues to determine if 1101 or 1103 would be the headlight lenses (flat on 1101, veed on 1103) and of course the physical size of the motor and the motor number.

For those years when Phil Hill was offering the running board covers they were only made in 1 length for the longest wheelbase, for all the others you had to cut and splice.
