Either I am blind as a bat or totally missing it, I went through that spec manual repeatedly and still couldn't find the lug spacing specs any where......Am I looking in the wrong manual ?

I don't think you are blind. They give the rim width and style of wheel although I don't know that the difference between a K and L might be unless that designates the bolt circle. No specific mention of bolt circle or the size of the center hole. IIRC, there was a post some years back where the various years and models that would cross with a specific bolt circle was mentioned,

I believe the Clipper bolt pattern in 4 1/2, and the Packard is 5.

"Back in 2014, Had to sell my beloved 51 Packard Patrician 400"

"1955 Custom Clipper Constellation. Completely original.....Hoping to be the new owner"

Mark,

I've marked the Registry entry for your '51 Patrician Touring Sedan as "SOLD". Didn't pick up in this post that you had your Patrician for sale, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

And when, not if, you buy the '55 Custom Clipper Constellation please include it in the Packard Owner's Registry.
