Radiator swap or universal fit recommendations

I have a '55 Clipper Super with a 320 and my radiator is shot. I checked a few places in the area and nobody is willing to recore this style. Has anyone had success with a swap or a universal fit? If so, what did you use?

Thank you in advance for any insight.

Your comment surprises me, recoring those radiators is a rather routine thing here. Did your shops give a specific reason why they wouldn't recore?

They said nobody around here does that style anymore. I have a few other places to try yet.

I used the Ford (actually 1968 Bronco) radiator on my Panther. "Some mods required" is an understatement IMO, but it will work and is larger than the original radiator.

Craig, did you use one for the I-6, 289, or 302?

To re core that radiator is a 600-800 dollar proposition.
There is a shop near me that will do it.
