I finally acquired a copy of Ed Blend's Packard book titled
"One Man's Family". Ed was a Packard expert and lived in the same area that I do - about two miles away. The book is about Ed and his family, but a lot of Packard lore and information is contained between the covers. I missed the chance to buy the book while Ed was still alive and am grateful to friend Mel Nelms who acquired this copy and gave it to me. Ed owned a magnificent 1934 Packard V-12 coupe roadster. It is pictured here with the white-haired Ed Blend and my friend Mel at the local Irwin car cruise held every Saturday. Picture taken several years ago.
