Made my quick appearance this morning at the National. Spend most of the time in the swapmeet and also wandered thr parking lot. A lot of car were still in their "toyboxes". But some neat stuff out there. Ross gave me a tour of his race car...very cool. A lot of custom work there.

Now back on the road to Chicago...

I loaded up my original 1947 Packard Custom Super Club Sedan 2125-2269 to bring to the swap meet but after seeing a couple of tire issues with the trailer and thinking about the probability of selling it for $12,500 I decided against it.

Another good day, a really interesting talk by Packard enginer on TL.
Seeing the cycle car, is really interesting, as well as 1st hand accounts from Bill Allison sons. Some of the benefits of going to a national meet.

I could use one of the 1965 - 1966 front clips as shown in the outdoor photos! Probably not available, though, and too costly to ship even if it were. Anyway, great to enjoy some of the events from afar.
