I have a number of bumper jacks too from my 1940 to 1954 Packards but all are unidentified. Don, if you have photos that can help identify these, can you post them? It my be helpful to others too. If this has already been done, can someone post a link? Right now I mainly want to know which is original to my 1954 Patrician.

From Reedy & Shaub's book on Packard jacks, and posted here with permission.

Thank you so much! I think I have several like that so will check them out shortly when I go over to the shop. I likely have a couple prewar too but they're likely different.

For the 1951 to 1954 jack, is the bumper hook a separate removable piece or is it part of the main stamping? I'm curious too about the box.

The jack boxes are no longer produced by me. The die was over 600 dollars to have made. Didn't have a place to keep it. The boxes are identical to the original Packard ones. For years 48 thru 56. I still have some from the last run I had the factory due. Still
$25 and I can bring them along to the National Meet next week in Columbus if anyone should want one. Also have the jack decals for the 46 thru 56 Packards. Will be selling out of the jacks I bought to produce the Packard Jack and Tool book. PM me if you have any interest.. Thanks.
