Let New Yorker's similar cathedral-like taillights be the excuse for this one. Interesting that both studios landed near each other on the rear lights for '55.

57-59 Chrysler's rounded form would have netted an evolutionary rather than 57 Program's revolutionary theme. Have added 3 inches to axle-dash, bumping wheelbase out to 129 inches. Moved backlight rearward 5 inches for more legroom. Front, rear and side glass, deck, floorpan and F/R door outers/inners all stock NY'r. Fins toned down and not flared. Skirts. Torsion bars front AND rear. Grill/hood could have continued '55-56 theme or better still, Request. Exposed lights would have perhaps looked better if hooded like '55s rather than Chrysler's solution.
