Just back from Texas meet in Salado. Great meet! Show got rained out(couple hours of show time). Had a good time though. I led the tour on Friday through beautiful back roads of Salado into Taylor Texas stopped at Jeff's Resurrection car restoration. Great time. Pictures on the way.

While in Taylor did you happen to pass by the first production 1955 Patrician? Just wondering if it is still there or has been sold or scrapped. Thanks.

This Patrician (5582 1001) received some coverage here when it was discovered for sale in Austin a few years ago. It was purchased by a restorer in Taylor. I visited the car at the shop and took numerous photos and posted them here. The buyer had it for sale at a price of $3,000. It was in pretty bad shape, but looked complete. White exterior with white leather interior, as I recall. Sorry, but time has erased any more detailed memories of the car. Mike Frankco is familiar with the car and its story. Maybe a search here will uncover the discussion thread. I'll look through my photo files and see what can be uncovered.

The same "restorer"/car dealer still has it.. although now the price has dropped to $2800 Here is the link, and from the photos, it's doubtful any restoration has taken place.
