It's Team Thunderbolt vs Team Fireball in a race to the end of the driveway in 2 cars that last ran during the Nixon administration. Hilarity ensues.

Thanks for posting the link, Rusty.

I look at the vid as a sendup on the many 'reality restoration' videos on YouTube. The dog is fun to watch as well.

Thanks again.

I just noticed I messed up the video a bit, by starting it about 5 minutes in. You have to go to the red line at the bottom, left click and push it back to start from the beginning.

Hey Rusty,

I too enjoyed the clip. Not sure if I goofed up, but what I watched appeared to be part 1. Is part 2 forthcoming or did I just miss something? ...did they ever get the Buick unseized?
Did the Packard ever run??? Must say, that is a pretty exotic 'boneyard' of cars where they're working. Everything in there looks 'interesting'! Thanks for posting. Chris

This same fellow has a weekly video that I greatly enjoy as he is ever reviving lost causes. Flip through them and you will discover (on the '60 Fury, for example) that he has incredible metal forming and bodywork skills.

Ross - yes I guess that is the thing that appeals to me - bringing back something that isn't for the $$'s it's worth afterward, as most of them don't 'compute', but for the sheer passion and love of restoration and bringing back an icon of the past. Hat's off. Chris.

This is the first episode, it only appeared a few days ago. Still waiting for the second episode. If there is any interest I will add it to the thread. They do have their own approach to the old car hobby, the videos can be habit forming after a while.

Rusty, I'd definitely 'tune in' to Part 2, that's for sure... Chris
