Hey gang..I have a question again.
What the heck does the plate look like for the 55 patrician? Since I don't have one, I was wondering if one of you could tell me if this one is the same..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching&item=150324312824&viewitem=

Bear in mind EVERYTHING is staying legit with this, just would be nice to have an matching plate

Thanks in advance!

The only thing you'll have is about 1/3 down the drivers door riveted to jamb. A plate about 1x4 with number, paint & trim code.

No, that's not the correct one. Yours should be plain stainless steel, no silk-screened information, with a rib around the edge, riveted to the driver's door forward jam, with car maker's name, VN, and paint and trim codes stamped.

Morgan. IIRC u have a 56 400????? The 55 vin plate is just like the 56. so a 55 would be just like your 56.

The following is a data plate for a "400", but your Patrician data plate should look trhe same except it will start with 5582

Mike - I'm a bit suprised that your VN plate is affixed with screws, mine appears to be tack-welded. Are 55 and 56 attached differently, or was your taken off and reattached?

Not my "400". It's a photo from an Ebay listing I kept.

You are correct. Original data plates were spot welded. This was the first photo in my file.

Here's a correctly attached data plate, but from my Caribbean.

I have another body number for your records:

5478-2271/G76967
