The Evans website reports freeze protection to -40 F, which is also -40 C.
I've never used the product because my old cars are not completely leak free, but the high boiling point is quite appealing. Perhaps in the future. dp

Evans will not fix a cooling system with problems. It is advertised to prevent corrosion, boil over as well as being a long lasting product. It sounds like a good way to go, once the cooling system is put into good condition.

I started working on the brake lines and the 2 front lines that connect to the rubber brake hoses have a "braided" covering where it crosses the top of the frame.
Has anyone dealt with this before? What did you do? It is a minor point, but I have the opportunity to do it correctly.

That looks like standard wire loom braid such as one might buy at Rhode Island wiring or others. Just slip it on before flaring the new tubes.

Ok, I was able to get some 1/4" ID asphalt covered wiring loom and it worked great. Just a little more tweeking of the bends and another fitting and it will be ready to go.
Thanks for the help
