I have a 200 with small hubcaps. They are pretty much shot in that the chrome is flaking off in large patches. What are my options for hubcaps that will attach to this wheel? Where can I get them?

You could try Max Merritt. Says on Website - For 1948-54 "AVAILABLE FOR MANY MODELS" "Inquire".

I've seen these small wheel covers both in steel and in stainless steel but other than material, I can see no differences. My 1953 Clipper Deluxe had steel caps that were rusty and peeling as you described but what a difference it made to the overall appearance putting on a stainless set! Bottom line, ask for the stainless version and I even have an inexpensive set at my Oregon shop if looking for driver quality. However, I won't be back there for a few months.

I have some available, not sure how many. They are not in perfect shape but not junked either (and priced to match condition). If you would like me to see how many I have and provide you with pictures send me a message and I will.

I could be wrong but my recollection is that the full wheel covers or shell covers were stainless steel but the hub caps were chrome-plated steel.

The small caps came either way. I suspect thet due to Korean War shortages, poorly plated steel was used for 1952 and early 1953. The caps I have are stainless and I have six of them.
