Thanks Kev, I'm still learning about Packards. This is the first one I've owned.

The "two 1947 Packards", just before he died. I have always understood that Capone died of tertiary syphilis, this usually results in insanity. Can you do a lot of driving?

I should think he had a chauffeur.

According to Alvin "Creepy" Karpis who did time with Capone in Alcatraz, by the late 30s Capone had deteriorated mentally to the point where he belonged in a mental institution or nursing home.

Insanity never seemed to be an impediment to driving in Los Angeles.

1934 PACKARD TWELVE SEDAN-'AL CAPONE'
Originally Delivered New to the Al Capone Syndicate. To be sold at The Worldwide Group's Houston Classic Auction on May 3, 2008. For information call 866-273-6394 or visit www.WWGauctions.com.

* This is unarguably an Al Capone Packard because it says so on the Internet. I mean why would an auction company try to tie a famous name to a car for sale?
