The Executive is on the Clipper frame. Custom Clippers were built one day and almost overnight the Custom Clipper was stopped and Packard trim was added to the model and the Executive became the offering. There is a 5 inch longer wheelbase on senior Packards 127 vs 122 on Clippers so yes, the difference is length. Not exactly sure which pipe the change in exhaust would be but the length change on the body and frame is just ahead of the rear seat.

As Howard (HH56) said, the Executive would be the same as the 1956 Clipper Custom from which is was made. Contact them, though, as not everything is listed and also keep this in mind for other parts as few of the dealers with an online presence bother to keep their catalog up to date.

There are some new type full circle band clamps that are now available. They work better than the u-bolt type original clamps in that they provide better clamping without making a groove by the u-bolt. The groove makes it difficult to take the system apart to make adjustments or replace.

Also try Kepich Exhaust and there are others too. My experience with Waldron has been spotty at best when they made the system for my 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood. I was able to use only some of what they made and even then one required serious modification to fit properly.

No surprise that experiences vary, mine with Kepich was abysmal, and very good with Waldron. Perhaps the accuracy of some particular patterns are better in one case than another. Recommendations from someone buying the exact same system for the same vehicle should be the most valuable.

I agree, which is why I stated which car it was for. Clearly not for Packard although their insistence that it was correct was rather puzzling when it was not.

Is Kepich still in business? I thought he retired or sold his exhaust operation a couple of years ago.
